NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Lower Garden District just landed a coworking space – Urban HUB is reimagining coworking in New Orleans. Take a virtual tour by viewing the launch video HERE.

Urban HUB is building a community space for New Orleans’ most vibrant individuals and teams, starting with its flagship location in the heart of the Lower Garden District. From real estate to technology, film to finance, Urban HUB aims to support local businesses and individuals on their path towards passion and progress.

“Urban HUB is a collaborative community of freelancers, creatives, and small teams focused on growing themselves and their businesses,” Jack Buczkowski, Urban HUB GM

The facility itself is comprised of an open working environment with up to 19 desks. The space features two conference rooms that can be reserved along with two quiet “phone booths” that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a copy/printer room with storage for office supplies, along with a kitchen and break area with casual open seating. Two large bathrooms are on site along with an open courtyard that lends itself to working outdoors, hosting a small event or even a pop-up fitness class.

Urban HUB currently has three membership options:

  • Dedicated Desk – $400/month reserved desk with locking file cabinet – leave your stuff.

  • Hot Desk – $250/month grab an open desk on the regular – can’t leave your things.

  • Daily Desk – $30/day grab a spot that is available on a daily basis – don’t have to commit to a full month.

“Urban HUB has been crucial for growing my business,” said Crescent Sun Construction Founder Beau Williams. “The space allows me to be agile with expansion, and the community has helped me grow my network in the city.”

Located in the Lower Garden District at 1582 Magazine Street (Richard Street corner), members have 24/7 private access to the workspace. For questions or more information, please contact urbanhublgd@gmail.com.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Urban HUB is currently limiting occupancy to 50% to allow for increased work-station separation and social distancing. There are hand sanitizing stations strategically placed throughout and a professional sanitation team that cleans weekly. Masks are highly encouraged to be worn whenever moving about Urban HUB. Multiple points of entry and outdoor space allow for low exposure and fewer touch points.
